Rhythms I-IV

2020

This series of digital illustrations was designed in Adobe Illustrator. The concept that I wanted to explore is the similarities between technology and nature. Each illustration contains topographic contour lines of lakes, mountains, and hills. The psychedelic color combinations of red, blue, yellow, and pink create a glitch effect. The result is an electrifying, almost dizzying representation of a topographical map. By layering the thin and colorful contour lines, I was able to create a three-dimensional effect of vector lines that originally existed in the two-dimensional realm.

Electric Logo
Electric!

Logo for "Electric!"

2023

This logo was designed for the City of Bedford's first annual "Electric!" light art exhibit. On April 8, 2023, Generations Park in Bedford was transformed into a glowing outdoor gallery with over 20 sculptures that used light as their medium. The exhibited work was created by UNT's sculpture students. I created this logo for the event, which was printed on t-shirts and used in promotion and marketing materials on social media. The exhibit was held during a full moon, which inspired me to depict a glowing neon moon sign.

Logo for "Surreal Pop"

2023

This logo was designed for the City of Bedford's immersive exhibit, "Surreal Pop." This exhibit was held on August 17-19, 2023, and an encore show was held on the 19th. The theme of Surreal Pop was momentous art movements, and featured light projections in different rooms that encapsulated Pop Art, Impressionism, Op Art, and Surrealism, which was projected into an empty swimming pool. The light projections were designed and mapped by Lightware Labs, based in Dallas, Texas.  The logo was used for promotion and marketing materials, and was live printed on t-shirts at the event by Robot Monster screen printing. I also painted my logo on one of the walls in the exhibit and it was animated by Lightware Labs.
